Where LUV Comes From

Southwest Airlines is living proof that a company can be both fun and professional at the same time. Working with their team showed us that corporate doesn't have to mean boring, not by a long shot! Using their company pillars and core beliefs as a guide, Pink Jacket  used themes like diversity, green initiatives, innovation, company history, and several other topics to form colorful and fun evironments.

Since this was a renovation in an existing building, it was also important that we adhered tightly to the employee move-in schedules. Through a mammoth team effort, we designed and executed all the centers on budget and on a timely basis. Our highlights for this project were many but the most memorable were the dedication spaces which involved the founders of Southwest, Airlines, one of which inlcuded a "laugh button" which included three of Herb Kelleher's laughs! If you get a chance to walk around these headquarters, make sure you see that. Also, make sure you see our office favorite, the Halloween Center.

5 Video Strategies for Social

  The “new wave” in digital has been alive and thriving for a handful of generations now. Not to knock the *Metaverse* ( Jury’s still out on if Zuck’s digital playground will ever be widely adopted. ), but Video is where it’s at, and its impact will only grow bigger in the future. Here are a few helpful strategies for social video content. The hold that video has over consumers now is shown in a statement by Google VP, Prabhakar Raghavan – “In our studies, something like almost 40% of young people, when they’re looking for a place for lunch, they don’t go to Google Maps or Search. They go to TikTok or Instagram.” This means that Google is facing competition on their own turf – search engines. When consumers are looking for product recommendations, reviews, first-hand knowledge, and real human takes, they overwhelmingly prefer video. One common trope is searching for a simple recipe on Google, only to have to scroll past some obscure blogger’s life story to get to the instructions. TikT

  PJ @ SXSW ’22 “As South by Southwest has grown, it has helped elevate Austin’s reputation worldwide as not only a music destination but also a home for technology and innovation.” – The New York Times After a long weekend of keynote speeches, learning sessions, networking, and so much music, it was good to be back home in Dallas. Here’s a top 5 of my favorite things from my 10 th   SXSW experience, but my first time doing it all by myself. Old friends and new Got to meet up with long-time friend   Matt Sonzala   at a Day Party on the East Side the day I arrived. Anyone who knows hip hop in Austin or Houston (or really, anywhere in Texas) is likely within a 7 degree or less connection with Matt. Not only is he an incredible music writer, radio host and has an awesome podcast, but he’s also worked in all aspects of the music industry including booking, managing tours, and even consulting on film projects.
